The Atlanta Fibroid Center is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Sima Banerjee, MD, to its expert interventional radiology team.
Dr. Banerjee is a board‑certified specialist in diagnostic and vascular & interventional radiology with over 20 years of experience. She earned her medical degree from King’s College London School of Medicine in 2005 and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Emory University, followed by a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
During her career, Dr. Banerjee has developed deep expertise in minimally invasive image‑guided procedures, including uterine fibroid embolization, pelvic congestion syndrome treatments, tumor ablation, and vascular interventions.
The addition of Dr. Sima Banerjee further expands the expertise of the Atlanta Fibroid Center team and demonstrates our continued dedication to delivering the highest quality of women‑focused fibroid care in Georgia.
She is admired and respected for her compassionate nature and commitment to listening to her patients and treating them with the personal attention and care they desire and need.
